Two-Minute Slow Cooker Chicken
This slow cooker chicken recipe is easy and tastes great. It only takes two minutes to prepare. Slowly cooking the chicken in a tasty sauce makes the meat tender and juicy, which is great for serving over rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish optional
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker
Pour the sauce over the chicken
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry
Stir the slurry into the slow cooker, mixing well with the sauce
Cover and cook on high for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened
Serve the chicken over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired
