Cajun Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz penne pasta, cooked according to package instructions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Spread the Cajun seasoning out on the chicken breast slices
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
Place sliced chicken in the pan and season it
Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until the chicken is browned and fully cooked
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
Put onion, bell pepper slices, and minced garlic in the same skillet
For about 4 to 5 minutes, cook until the vegetables are soft
Add the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, and mix the sauce well until it is smooth and creamy
Put the cooked penne pasta into the pan and toss it around so that the sauce covers all of it
Put the cooked Cajun chicken slices back in the pan and mix them with the pasta and sauce
Add pepper and salt to taste
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley
